Our son has been with AMA for more than a year, and he has improved a lot, especially when he has the new teacher - Ms Celene Nova - he gets along really well with her. She has a great personality, with her experience and dedication, she knows how to manage a strong-character toddler like our son :). The Management really supports us too. I have two daughters, both of which have attended Allen Montessori Academy. We visited just about every major and some in-home childcare facilities before we settled on AMA. There was a night and day difference between AMA and the others. It was clear to us on our first visit that the educators at AMA were passionate about montessori teachings and practices and were not simply there to provide daycare. If you value education and are looking for a place to help your child learn both practical life and academically, AMA is that GREAT place.

I have volunteered at AMA during past summer months and the one thing that puts it far and above other schools is the teaching staff. The teachers here do focus on providing the best Montessori education, and thus laying a sound foundation that will help them in their future educational careers. However, they go past just laying an educational foundation, but help to shape and mold the character of their students. The students learn to respect others, themselves, and their education. They learn valuable life skills that sometimes get overlooked, but that will probably help them more.

My daughter went to Allen Montessori Academy and my son still attends this school. Trust me, this is no daycare. It is a school. My daughter moved to kindergarten (Allen ISD) and from day one she was already ahead of her class in most respects (math, art, reading, writing, behaviour, etc...) There is no doubt in my mind that Allen Montessori's education has a great deal to do with her achievements. Already, my son also seems very advanced when compared to other kids in my daughter's kindergarten class, and he still has 2 years before going to kinder! I am very comfortable with the teachers and staff: they are wonderful! Not only on academics, but also in helping educating your kids with good manners, proper eating habits, proper language skills, etc, etc... They also make the morning drop-off a non-issue, to the point that my kids WANT to go to school in the mornings! In fact, my son enjoys Allen Montessori so much, he sometimes argues with me for picking him up early! I highly recommend Allen Montessori Academy to anyone and everyone interested in giving the gift of a good academic and all-around foundation to their kids.

My son has attended Allen Montessori Academy for 2 years. He began in the baby room and just completed another year in the toddler room with Miss Grace. It has been a fantastic experience in every way. I am a teacher myself and very picky. I chose AMA because of the teachers and feel of the school. It feels like family. This last year, my son learned by leaps and bounds. My family can not believe his skills and knowledge base. He loves going to "his school". He just turned 3 and is beginning to read. They have an activity room and our favorite, the library. Every day when we leave, he looks forward to taking a book and in the morning when we arrive, he puts it back. Even the teachers from other classes know us and he is so well loved and cared for. As a parent who had a hard time going back to work, this school really has made me feel at ease about the whole process. I recommend it in every way. It is a superior school and a superior education.

My daughter is now 20 months old, and she has attended Allen Montessori Academy in Allen, TX since she was 3 months old. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Allen Montessori Academy! During the day when I am at work, I feel very assured knowing that my daughter is being loved and cared for in such a wonderful educational environment. My daughter absolutely loves her schooling, and I am very pleased that she considers her school such a positive place to be. The entire staff at Allen Montessori Academy is knowledgeable, caring, attentive, loving, and trustworthy. I know I owe a lot of my daughter's advanced development to her schooling at Allen Montessori Academy. At just 20 months old she loves to read, she shows concern and respect for other children, she says please and thank you, she is happy all the time, and she knows so many words, shapes, colors, letters, etc. I am 100% sure that my daughter's schooling has contributed greatly to her development and skills. Both my sons have attended Allen Montessori on and off during the past 8 years. Both of them started reading before the age of 4 and are both very astute in Math. I attribute everything to the way they were taught at Allen Montessori. The academic rigor is second to none. Ms. Tehmina has been a God-send to our family. My older son is now a straight A student at Norton and is in the AIM (Talented and GIfted) program. His study skills have been honed so well during his 4-year stay at this school. We have kept our younger son at AMA for kindergarten for the sole purpose of further advancing his academic skills. I highly recommend this school for both its academic and family-oriented environment. Do come by for a visit so you can experience for yourself what other Montessori schools can not offer.

My daughter and my son have both attended Allen Montessori. My daughter was only there for a year before she entered Kindergarten. As a school teacher I was very impressed with what she learned while she was at Allen Montessori. She was reading and doing simple math before entering Kindergarten in just a years time. The teachers at Allen Montessori are very experienced compared to some of the other Montessori schools in town. My son has been at the school for two years, and will start his third year in August. I have been equally pleased with his progress at the school. It was in no time at all that he was coloring in the lines at three years old, and he has grown so much in his learning with math, and reading. I have been very pleased with the teachers at Allen Montessori. They know what they are doing and have several years of experience. The school isn't fancy, but as an educator myself I wasn't looking for fancy I was looking for a good start to a long education for my most precious gift my children.

My 3-1/2 year old grandson has attended Allen Montessori Academy since he was 4 months old. If you are looking for that personal touch and a school whose management and staff truly care about each child, then AMA is what you are looking for. I have always appreciated the personal attention my grandson has received as well the competent and skilled staff and management. Two thumbs up, five stars!

We have been in AMA for a few years now and I can't even begin to explain how much we LOVE this school. From the top notch management, to the last teacher. There is virtually NO TURN AROUND, which is unheard of if you look at any other daycares. It says a lot! The staff must like working there as well. The montessori education is fantastic, the teachers are Montessori certified. My children are much more advanced in any areas of life then any of their peers. All of my family members are super impressed with their knowledge and behavior. Superior value and very affordable! Highly recommend it to anyone!

Our daughter has been to AMA for the past couple of years, and we have seen her grow by leaps and bounds. She loves going to school, can read books by herself, knows addition, knows geography and science. We love the environment that this school provides - teacher turnaround is virtually nonexistent. The teachers and staff are polite, cordial, and totally care for the children. We moved to a new house that is about 10 minutes away, but we still have our daughter at AMA and recently started our son in the toddler room as well, although there are about 5 different pre-schools near our house (one just a minute away). The small teacher student ratio enables individualized attention, and we can see our children flourish. We are very happy with the care and instruction provided by the school staff, and would totally recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a good pre-school for their children.

The Allen Montessori academy has been a God send for our child. She absolutely LOVES this school, LOVES her teachers and looks forward to being there every day and cant wait to go home and work on her assignments. We have been attending this school for over three years and could not be happier. Her social and educational experience has her more prepared for kindergarten than we could have ever hoped for. Yes, we tried other so called day cares - don't waste your time or money if you truly want to see your child develop fundamental life skills at an early age. Her teacher has over 28 years of Montessori experience and has a passion for the children like no other. My first child joined 7 years ago, then my second one and now my third one is enrolled in this school. The school may not be very fancy but its most important asset is its staff. The dedication and concern of its teachers for my child's learning are phenomenal. All teachers are certified and highly experienced. I highly recommend this school to all parents. Before joining this school, I enrolled my first child in a very fancy school. I tried that school for a whole one year and finally with lot of disappointment, I pulled her out and enrolled in Allen Montessori and since then I never thought of any other school. My youngest one looks forward to go to school everyday and she loves her teachers. The parent-teacher communication is also remarkable.

My grandson (who lives with me) has been attending since he was 4 months old (now almost age 4.5 yrs). AMA has dedicated, caring, nuturing and competent staffers. We could not be more pleased with the school. Highly recommend as we have complete ease of mind and confidence in the care he receives.

My child has been going to AMA for 2 years now and we are very happy with the management, staff, curriculum, lunch program, all the enrichment programs. The management keeps in touch with all the parents through e-mails, newsletters, calendars. My child is learning so much academically as well as manners. We love the school and highly recommend it!
